(Back to SysAdmins)
- PhD student, one year in, which means that I'll be here another two years.
Previously (before university) functioned as a DonaldGordon translator, and have hacked a couple of his Perl scripts (such as the VodaFone picture uploads for HyDra).
Studied to 3rd year CompSci (304, 307), plus an Honours paper in Artificial intelligence, currently doing a bioinformatics based PhD which involves a significant portion of programming.
Understand many different programming languages (C++, Java, Haskell, Prolog, R, Perl, ...), and have hacked a few programs to function a bit better (pioneers-server-console, xscreensaver, JMeSudoYu).
- Experience with quick shell scripts for file manipulation
I'm better on the fixing code side of things, rather than deciding what to install / set up.
