Interface's Internet connection is graciously provided by the School of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS).
Therefore, Interface, and anyone using our systems, are bound under some Victoria University statutes:

You also take full responsibility for the actions you perform while connected to the SWANS network.

By using any of Interface's SWANS systems you are bound by the above statutes.

Associate Systems

From time to time, Interface will run events that utilise the SWANS network. Associate systems may proxy our Internet services, when appropriate written notice is given to the Executive Committee.

The associate system should take precautions to ensure Interface's network is not abused or degraded. This means network restrictions may be applied to the associate system's end users, with the discretion of the system administrator.

If appropriate precautions are not taken, the service may be revoked until further notice.

Events

During Events we may provide access to the Internet transparently to non-members, but it is important to note that non-students are still bound under the above statutes.
