Artwork and Pamphlets
I have updated the pamphlets, IOpenCD , CD Covers (Thanks big time to Jess and Tim for folding while we went and had dinner in towne. See: http://user.interface.org.nz/~aenertia/sfd_2006/
Pamphlet has been updated again and proofed by Chris... it is now revision 2... PLEASE use this one in future.
We have Burnt off 150 IopenCD version 3. New Version is now available on-line. Check the MD5 and Readme. (Need to get from Interface ... if okayed by the exec... 59.95$ - Alex I have receipt) : http://user.interface.org.nz/~aenertia/iopencd/
I have also finally gotten around to doing the interface and IOpen CD stamps, they are designed for 60mmx30mm dimensions and If Okay'd Chris will go and get them made ASAP so we can put them onto the cd's before wednesday. So you guys need to okay the designs, if nothing is said they WILL be made, I printed them to scale and used a clear cd to arrange them... they look great. I am going to ask Vuwsa if we can have the BBQ and the Requisite ammount of sausages and bread for the Day, We will need Breadwo(men) and Sausage Turners for the day. We are meant to be there 10-3, but I reckon BBQ (if we can get it) from 11:30-1pm. VUWSA from memory will supply everything bar the gas, so someone with a car will need to volunteer to go fill the thing.
We still need to stuff CD cases with CD's stamp the CD's and Put in lolies (I bought a bunch of Lolipops again), Tuesday evening is the only time I can think of which will work for this. So memphis from 5:30 onwards for Goodie pack stuffers?

It's on... Details of tasks and dates
SFD officially is this Saturday (16th Sept), but Interface should attempt for a presence next Wednesday (20th) in the quad, and maybe another day next week at Pipitea.
We should (I should?) update the IOpenCD and do a packing session. I think the Hellium ballons and bright candies were an awesome idea last time.
So list of tasks to do before next Wednesday:
Update IOpenCD
- Do a mass burning session (Volunteers)
- Print and fold covers (Volunteers) + make up goodie packs
- Designate those people on the stand guessing a 10-2/3pm affair in the quad
- Maybe do some lecture publicity over the next couple of days.
- Get helium into balloons Wednesday morning (nice chem people hopefully will
be nice again)
We have 100 odd Ubuntu CDs with cases, 2 SFD shirts and a bunch of stickers.
Anyone else got ideas?
-- Date for folding and burning session is this sunday, from 4pm onward. We will need people to help fold brochures and cd cases and make up goodie packs.
