Goto www.xe.com for current NZ-SG exchange rate.

It's about 1-1 at the moment. Pretty much everything is around 5-10% cheaper there and GST free which makes it cheaper again.

Cases/NAS etc I can bring back as I'm travelling light, and can ram all the other crap into a case/nas unit.

Memory Cards:

2gb CF/SD/MS/MMC can be had for around 55$ add your name here if you want and what type and how many.

Joel x 2

Chris 1x 2GB SD

Donald - 1x 2GB CF, 1x 2GB (CF/SD, whatever the jukebox-camera takes), 1x 512MB DDR 400 DIMM

SD Camcorder:

There a few "toyish" sd based camcorder digital camera devices floating around. The best ones (Sanyo Xacti) are 5.1 mp ccd, upto 12mp interpolated, and record 720p hd have good lenses and are awesome... they retail however for around 500-600... the older versions of these might be had for 200$ but they don't record HD...

The Toy variety range from 3.1mp ccd - 5.1mp ccd, but don't have any optical zoom. Creative, Aiptek and Mustek make these variety, The 5.1's retail for around 250$ the older 3.1's can be had for under hundred.

People wanting one:

Joel

Chris - limit $100. The 3.1mp is ok, but I'm only interested if it's small and plays mpeg4, mp3.

Donald - something with a screen that plays MPEG4, and a camera, that takes CF or SD. If it takes CF, make that two CF cards and no evil SD.

Access Points

Chris: WRT54GL - limit $100

Bluetooth wireless mouse - Chris: if you spot a really cheap ($20-30?) one -- it's not important to me though

Hard Drives

Neil - I could do with a couple of *Seagate* 300/320GB disks, one SATA, one IDE. Price on each capped at around SG$140, a little more for 320s

Payments

Chris - $270: 1x2gb SD ($50), 1xmouse ($20), 1x jukebox-camera ($100), 1x WRT54GL ($100)

Donald - $250: 1x2GB CF, 1x 512MB DDR 400 DIMM, 1x jukebox-camera, 1x 2GB memory for jukebox-camera (ideally CF, but I can cope with SD)
