The current Interface server (Machines/Smithers) is an Athlon 900 with 256MB of RAM that DonAld had spare, with the 20GB disk that used to be in Machines/Unibus in it.
Network-wise, it's at 130.195.11.128, but this is not accessible outside the university or via the VUW's wireless network. Therefore, it's also on SWANS (at 10.73.0.71), and various things have been redirected through Machines/Unibus. As a result, to access it you should ssh to user.interface.org.nz; outgoing connections will appear to come from 130.195.11.128 to the VUW network, and 130.195.11.127 to the rest of the world.
