How feasible is it to provide a campus-wide instant-messaging service?
Positives:
- Allows collaboration between students that are in "quiet environments" (e.g. library), or who can't sit next to each other due to crowded labs.
- Allows MCS students to communicate with SCS / SIM students without resorting to email
Points from the Exec meeting 17/6/04:
- Pricing: free to anyone (too hard to charge for, will hinder adoption)
- Signing up: we *may* need to provide logs to the University if there is abuse. We should talk to someone about this.

Stuff can be done with the shiny old InterfaceServer
