- Let us go and hunt some geocaches around Wellington; it might be fun! Bring a GPS if you have one, and perhaps some food to snack on.
Geocaching is a treasure hunt with a GPS. We get the co-ordinates of a cache hidden somewhere, perhaps some clues, then go and find it. Check out http://www.geocaching.com/ for more information about geocaching in general.
Weather permitting, we are going to go and find a few geocaches around the Aro Valley / Brooklyn area and hopefully have some fun. I will post links to some of the caches.
We will probably meet at my flat or at Vic and we will head down from there, I will let you know closer to the time, so let me (AndrewWalbran) know if you are interested. Bring your walking shoes and perhaps some food to snack.
Oh, and if you have a GPS, please bring it and let me know. If we could get a couple that would be great as then we could split into two or three teams (depending on how many people come) and have a bit of a race to find the most caches, or something like that.
For those of you on Facebook, please RSVP on the Facebook event. Otherwise, email AndrewWalbran so that we can let you know where to meet and wait for you.
