"We've all seen security risks that persist within a business despite every attempt to get time and budget to fix them. Even worse, we see people in our businesses behaving in ways that open them to all manner of exploitation. As security practitioners and researchers we can see vividly the risks that businesses take, and experience the frustration of trying to relate this to the business in a way that makes sense.
I will present some of my rambling thoughts on why it is so difficult for businesses to take security seriously, and some ideas for making the situation just a little bit better. This talk is entirely free of Silver Bullets, or indeed weapons of any rare metal. It does, however, include beer."
